Our delightful Kelpie twin room with spacious en-suite face south so you can make the most of the warm summer sunshine, as you look over open fields towards the Firth of Forth, the Isle of May and the distant Lammermuir Hillls.
Comfy 3 ft wide beds, cozy goosedown duvets and crisp cotton linen ensure you’ll get a good night’s sleep. Period features and antique furniture complement the things you’d expect to find in your room – organic tea, coffee and hot chocolate with Scottish biscuits and TV. There is also a Butler’s Pantry with fridge and microwave accessible from the landing.
The en-suite bathroom is a place to relax in a bath to recharge your batteries, and if you wish continue to enjoy the view through the window.
Wake up to the sight and sound of house martins during the summer months, or perhaps catch a glimpse of deer or hare as they scamper across the cultivated fields.
If you arrive before 7 pm, you will be welcomed with a cup of tea and home-baking served in our exclusive guest lounge with wood-burning stove for those chilly autumn evenings. And you’re welcome to use the lounge during your stay for some peace and quiet, to read a book, enjoy the view, have a snooze or play a board game.
